July 5, Kathmandu – National Assembly member Devendra Dahal has claimed that the government’s move to dissolve the House of Representatives and go for a fresh mandate was not absolute.
Speaking at a special session of the National Assembly on Monday, Dahal said that it was the right decision to go to the polls in the current situation as the first time the dissolved House of Representatives could not be restored. He also claimed that none of the opposition parties had the courage to go public. He claimed that the parliamentary practice was called unconstitutional practice and unauthorized and unparliamentary practice had started. He remarked that the Leader of the Opposition had to be made the Prime Minister in a shameless manner.
He demanded relief and rehabilitation, saying that the floods and landslides had caused huge loss of life and property in different parts of the country.
